"Empowering Women in Their Walk with Jesus" Event

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity. (Psalm 133.1.) Cape Community Church would like to invite you to attend our Christian Women’s Event Saturday, August 15th from 10AM to 1PM at Cape Community Church of God in Cape Girardeau, MO. The $10.00 Registration fee includes Lunch and a gift.
I have included a copy of the event flier in this correspondence which you are welcome to share with anyone who might be interested in this event. Women from Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois are coming together for this event, so this gathering is a good opportunity to connect with Christian Women from other Churches in our district, state, and region. The Theme for this year’s event is: “Empowering Women in Their Walk with Jesus.”
There will be two special guest speakers: Rev. Dr. Kimberly Majeski, Executive Director of the Christian Women’s Connection and Jeannette Webb, Digital Creator, Christian Songwriter, and women’s rights advocate. The CWC is affiliated with the Church of God Referendum Movement Headquarter in Anderson, Indiana. The CWC began in 1932 and now has about 15,000 members in the US and around the globe. They Exist to build relationships with women everywhere. They provide ministry resources to the Church of God and other groups to connect women through relationships, spiritual formation and service. They support others as they train and empower women for leadership in peace building and reconciliation. There are also opportunities to volunteer if you would like to help staff this event.
