First (and foremost)…Pray, Pray, and Pray!
Pray for the ministry of KHIS. Pray that God’s will be done through this radio station, touching hearts, and ministering to people in Southeast Missouri (and all around the world!).
Pray for people's lives to be changed and people to be pointed to Christ through this ministry.
And Thank God for our new 89.9 signal. You have been believing with us that we would be able to grow and reach even more people in Southeast Missouri, and the prayers have been answered! We made the move a new studio, a new tower site, and we now have the ability to reach six times the amount of people that KHIS could reach before! Pray that God continues to work through His message in the music.
Second…Spread the word about KHIS.
Tell your friends…both those who know the Lord already, and those who don’t. One way will be to place a KHIS window sticker on your car for hundreds of people to see every day. Listen for locations to pick those up (or see the list posted on "ENEWS" to the left). We have new stickers that include the 89.9 signal, too! Send our website address to your friends out of town so they can listen on-line.
Third…
If God moves you to financially support the ministry of KHIS Radio, please do so. The KHIS monthly operating budget for next year has tripled due to our awesome signal expansion.
The ministry of KHIS relies on the financial support of listeners like you and local area businesses so that we can continue to share “His Message in Your Music" with you and to others needing to hear His Message is through music. Please pray that God blesses these businesses and people for committing to keep Contemporary Christian Music playing on KHIS. The addition of the 89.9 frequency has been a huge blessing and helped our ministry to reach even more people for Christ. However, with the additional power, our monthly financial needs tripled and last year's Share fundraiser fell short causing us to have a Stand In The Gap day on Thursday, September 15th so that we can stay on the air until Spring 2012 when we will hold our annual full year fundraiser.
