Soda Can Science
Ingredients
Instructions
STEP 1: Excite the carbon dioxide gas bubbles inside the can of soda by rapidly shaking the can.
STEP 2: Instead of tapping the top of the can tap the side of the can several times
STEP 3: Open the soda!
Explanation
By tapping the side you dislodge the carbon dioxide bubbles from the walls of the can to the top of the can. Upon opening the can the carbon dioxide bubbles rush out and the soda stays in the can.

NEW HOOKED ON SCIENCE RADIO SEGMENT USES HANDS-ON SCIENCE TO TEACH GOD’S WORD
Cape Girardeau, MO – February 15, 2009 – Hooked on Science is teaming up with 107.9 KHIS to bring more science to Cape Girardeau via the radio. Listen for the new Beyond the Science Lab radio segment around 8:15 in the morning the last Wednesday of each month locally on 107.9 KHIS or anywhere around the world at http://www.khisradio.org/.
Beyond the Science Lab uses hands-on science to teach God's word. “ I designed each lesson to encourage Christians to connect with their creator through the wonders of science,” says outreach science educator Jason Lindsey.
